Biz gives a half-assed review on the movie State of Play, if you’re interested in seeing it, it’s recommended. Luke follows that up with a slamming of S.Darko. Apparently the movie sucked big fat hairy nuts, so don’t see it unless you’re prepared to see a bad movie. Tom also joins in on the movie reviews, he saw the Guy Ritchie film RocknRolla, which got “awesome” status, Sunshine which was “really good”, and The Incredible Hulk with Edward Norton which he enjoyed. Broken Condom from the chatroom recommends Inland Empire for a nice mindfuck. Luke sighs @ David Lynch films. Derek then joins in on the movie reviews and talks about the new Star Trek flick.

Other things from first segment, Dane Cook Sucks, Jeff Dunham is meh, Luke doesn’t like dummies, ButtMonkey from the chatroom poses an interesting question: “Have you ever gotten so drunk, you blacked out and woke up pissing somewhere strange?” This brings up a bunch of stories about that, and drunken puking.

Then it gets even more gross.. JunkieFriendFinder.com comes up, and so does 1priest1nun.com (a.k.a. the Church of Fudge video), or as we like to call it “beefbeef”. hahahah

We also talk about things like an accidental penis severing via oral sex, Salute Your Shorts, The State, UCB, Hey Dude and other shows we watched as a kid, and lots of other stuff.

We end the show with dump stories! No way to end the show than with a big turd.. or stories about ‘em.

So, what happened on this weeks BJRadio Show you ask? What if I were to say NOTHING AT ALL? bwahahah I’m joking of course. Lot’s of stuff happened on this edition of The BJRadio Show.

We get into things such as the Swine Flu right off the bat. Tom’s birthday, Biz’ night in Manhattan, Luke seeing Streetlight Manifesto at Ollie’s Point.

Cringe VP Cris Italia called in to tell Biz he’s jealous of all the attention Tom’s been getting from him. That was an odd phone call. It turned into something way different than what it started to be.

Derek gets laced into a whole lot about being gay. I feel like I have to tell you all, HE’S NOT GAY, but if you listen to any time anyone calls him gay on-air, you’ll hear him exclaim that statement like he’s shouting it from a rooftop.

Patience, formerly of The Current, calls in representing Sunday Matinee Productions. She’s booking Sunday matinee shows at Sinclair’s Pub in West Babylon for 3 bucks admission. Sounds like a killer deal to us, so she called in to promote that. We eventually got to the new Christwire article that was written on us, telling people we “force” people into sexual acts for airtime, and we “force” girls to show their “naked chests & boobs”. Christwire = lunatics. Especially that Tyson Boners. You can read this hilarious article here. I’ve been meaning to write a retorting article on this piece, I’ve just been busy lately.

We also get into mashups in the 3rd hour, along with old TV shows, and their theme songs to close out the show. All in all, it was a pretty fun one.

I’d also like to speak on behalf of the show, when I give this shout to ShutthefuckupNOW from the chat room. She started listening last week, came back this week, and she’s awesome. She’s going to be going through a rough time coming this week, and we wish her ALL the best!

We had a bit of a problem during the show. This would not be the only problem, but more on the other problem in a sec. The show shut the fuck down on us right in the middle of it! hahaha

Apparently one of our surge protectors decided it wanted to break right in the middle of the show downing our server machine, Tom’s machine and our router. 3 key elements to us broadcasting. So, there’s a bit of the show that doesn’t show up in this archive.

Okay, and onto problem 2. You might notice the intro starts in the middle, and the quality isn’t great. Welllll about that.. ya see, Tom used the wrong encoder, to no fault of his own. It’s a good thing he checked it in the first place (it’s thinking like that, that keeps him in a no paying job with us). Well, the encoder he used didn’t have the little (but very important) option “Save file to archive” enabled, so we had no high quality archive of this show. It wasn’t until it came to me that we have auto-archiving of the show via LiveVideo. So, I went through the video files, and recorded the audio from them so we have something to offer you guys this week. hah LiveVideo with a save, and a beaut!

**side note, as I type this Adobe Audition crashes. I have to thank Adobe for the “auto-save” feature. Damn.. that’s 2 saves on this episode. Let’s call Episode number 124 the “Miracle Edition” of The BJRadio Show!

Okay, so what happened on this episode?

So, like I said earlier, Tom’s brother Joe joins us in-studio. We talk about Mike’s wedding, and how Dave almost for into a fist fight with the wait staff. My best man speech. Derek goes to Connecticut for a bike, finds out the guy is pretty much off his rocker.

We get a buncha calls from this guy Will, who’s got a dry sense of humor, and terrible delivery. We also get a call from his dad. We also get a new listener in ShutthefuckupNOW in the chat room.

Tom tells a story about what he found on Amie’s bed…

We get into Gay Marriage, and how Miss California pisses off Perez Hilton. I expressed my disdain for Perez Hilton being EVERYWHERE. Maybe I’m just jealous everyone’s getting famous around me, and I’m stuck in the asshole of the internet.

And Joe plugs his friends band This Condition. If you like this band, you can vote for them to be on Bamboozle here. We also trashed a band in the running, called It’s Not Over from Staten Island. We trashed them, because we heard they blew, and we actually listened to them, and yeah, they really do blow.

Tom got so bored towards the end of the show, that he started watching porn from his stash on the machine he uses here. We also featured the return of the Shake’s Gay montage. hahaha

That I’ve been quoting this show for more than half of my life is a borderline crippling realization. It has shaped my thought process, as I find it difficult to say “underpants” without being reminded of Otto Bimini’s pronunciation of the word. I cannot purchase a Cosby-endorsed dessert without considering the ramifications of buying $240 worth of pudding. My shoes do not make piggy sounds, I have never performed “The Glass Menagerie” with the United States Men’s Bikini Thong Rollerblading Team, and I can’t imagine I’ll ever make it out to the Porcupine Racetrack, but on July 14th, I’ll have “The State” on DVD, and that’s all I really need.

This week it’s just us. Well, we were graced with Amie’s presence as well to talk to us about her stand up comedy show on Saturday night. So she came in between the first and second segments, and stayed for the remainder of the show. She challenged our callers at one point. Calls ending in 6 gets boobs. More on that in a minute.

We got into things like The Hormone Factory, the Angry Homo Kid on YouTube, and we had a call-in from Erik of local reggae/dub/punk band Hazmat Bay. Erik called in to talk to us about his upcoming show at The Crazy Donkey with World Inferno Friendship Society, and their upcoming album titled: The Red Tide which hits June 23rd. One of our listeners, Broken Condom from the chat room coined a new phrase on the show tonight, in all of our dislike for the action known at “tweeting”. He called it “twatting”. We’re gunna stick with that one Broke, cause “tweeting” sucks.

So, this week’s episode started off a little raw, with just Biz and Luke in studio. Eventually Tom and Derek showed up, but for the beginning it was a a different taste.

We we’re also greeted by Long Island metal band Suppressed Theory tonight. Great bunch of guys, amazing music, I suggest you click that link and get in on their Myspace.. cause they’re fucking awesome!

Thanks to Hyuck and Lady Hyuck, we had some Bacon Salt in studio tonight! Yes, and we ordered a pizza to all try it out! I for one thought it was amazing, however the hickory taste of it got to a couple people. No matter, it was a killer experience. This video portrays a father videotaping his son after a dentist visit, where he’s drugged up after the procedure. I personally find this video funny as hell, because at about 55 seconds into the video David gets up and just SCREAMS. It’s absolute gold. It sums up most of the days that I’m alive.

I find out today that there’s a blog about this kid that I’m sure his father setup because the video took off like a thief in the night. Well, I read the latest post of this blog, and come to find a boring as fuck article from the Chicago Sun-Times written by Mary Mitchell. BLECH. She really believes that this is “Child Exploitation” .. really Mary? Let’s get a fucking clue here.

First off, how about all the other videos that parents put on the internet of their kids saying dirty words, because a. they don’t know better, and b. they’re really trying to pronounce TRUCK. Are those child exploitation? Or do you find those videos funny? If you had any kind of sense of humor, you would find them funny. BECAUSE THEY ARE.

So, why is this video any different Mary?

She goes on to explain drivel like this:

In fact, officials with child welfare agencies should be concerned.

We expect parents to protect their children in situations where they cannot protect themselves — not exploit them.

Officials Mary? Seriously? It’s not like he drugged his own kid up! He wasn’t poking at his kids asshole with a finger in front of a fucking camera! What the fuck is so harmful about this video Mary? How was the kid in danger? He was under the supervision of his own father. Yeah, and if there was any danger to the kid, I’m sure his father would have put down the video camera and stepped in.

As for the millions of people who get a chuckle out of these troubling videos, what are you thinking?

Unless these children are pretending to be high, then they are being exploited for adult amusement.

What are we thinking Mary? We’re not thinking, that’s the beauty of laughter. It’s an involuntary function! As for your stupid comment about the children pretending to be high, that’s not funny at all as a matter of fact. You want to know why? Because to “pretend” they’re high, means they know the effects of REAL DRUGS, not anesthesia which you’re claiming to be a recreational drug, like this father got his son high on fucking heroin. STOP making it out to be more than it is. This kid was not being exploited, no matter what you say. The blog was created on the fact that the video took off, and that people enjoy it. Is this your job, to shit on what other people think is funny? You must be a poor bored soul.

OH, and another thing. I’d like to see your standard of what is “FUNNY”. You have an opinion? That’s fine, we’re all entitled to them. You don’t think this is funny, that’s fine too, but don’t you dare tell other people that they shouldn’t find this funny. You ask them “what are you thinking” .. how about you fall off your soap box, and stop being so self-righteous. You’re falling into the category of extremist.. “I don’t find this right, so you shouldn’t either”. Who the fuck do you think you are? Who made you “Queen Shit” that we should all follow your example to live our lives. How about you get a life, and accept that people have different senses of humor and get over it?

In fact, I already have a hard time understanding why so many people have nothing better to do than to shuffle through YouTube.

You have a hard time understanding this, because you’re so out of touch with what is happening now. Youtube is a great site for people to be able to share videos with their family, friends, and others who they don’t know. That’s the beauty of the internet. It belongs to everyone. You think everyone should be wasting their life like you are? Writing about things that you don’t like? Telling people what they should and shouldn’t find funny? The unfortunate part here is that you’re getting paid for you bullshit. Most people don’t. I can attest to it.

The Internet site has made it possible for anyone to become a film star even when what is being filmed could put them behind bars.

Oh, has it Mary? Yeah, it sure has, but guess what? When you post something on the internet that’s ILLEGAL, the proper authorities are usually notified, and you don’t become a “STAR”, you go to JAIL. How’s that relevant with what you’re talking about in the first half of your stupid article?

Mary Mitchell then goes on to lump an incident into this story, which doesn’t make sense with her original point. She talks about a filmed attack being uploaded to Youtube. Okay, yeah.. I’ll give her this.. some things just shouldn’t be shared. Absolutely, but does she realize she’s lumping in an ATTACK video with a father videotaping his son after a dentist appointment? The only connection is that they were uploaded to the same service. Big Fucking Deal! Everyone uses Youtube!

Apparently, these teens were so caught up in the YouTube culture that they didn’t even consider that they were providing police with clear-cut evidence.

No matter how many times teens are busted on YouTube for illegal activities such as underage drinking, others can’t resist the impulse to post these inappropriate videos.

Obviously they have no common sense Mary. DUH. Who puts videos like those on Youtube? Stupid teenagers. That’s right, and guess what? They got punished for what they did, did they not?

And again, she brings the article back around to her original point. “Child Exploitation, parents want their kids to be film starts, no child should be forced into this or that or the other thing blah blah blah blah.”

Making a video like this doesn’t convey a message of “Drugs are cool” … the kid is not on LSD, he’s on anesthesia. He had dental work done. Are you going to move for anesthesia to be outlawed next MS. Mitchell? And people laughing at it, doesn’t make them bad people. By you telling them they are, it makes you look like a self-righteous bitch. For your sake, I could only hope you realize that. However, to tell you the truth, I don’t really care.

The show starts off odd, but gets rolling through the first segment, with talk about Nannerpuss, and Nannerpuss’ Azn clone Nanna Pussu. We also get into things like No Patience/Conflict In The Sky/This’ll Kill Ya @ Da Funky Phish, party @ the brohouse, and why Derek and Luke’s dad should be friends.

In the 2nd segment Derek starts taking a verbal beating from Cris at the end of the segment. Damn! That starts a whole conversation about jizzing, and where to jizz when you don’t have any tissues or towels available, then onto female ejac.. etc. wow…

The listeners jumped all over this verbal beating Derek was taking, and pulled out their photoshop skills.

3rd segment brings us some light gay talk about Derek, because we tried to move past it, but it was tough. We bring in the segment with a cool little thing about predictions that the 90′s will bring, as predicted by important people in a 1990 edition of Playboy Magazine.

The BJRadio Show’s Predictions for the next decade:
Luke – “I see this show tanking, early 2012. Derek will be the first to leave.” Not on account of him becoming a full fledged homo, as Cris suggested, but him “not being able to handle the jokes, going on a rampage, shooting everyone while screaming “I HATE MONDAYS!!“ ”

That was the only real good one. After Derek said he has no idea what’s going to happen in the next decade, he goes off on a long winded explanation of where the auto industry will go. Thus turning a high energy show into the cure for insomnia.

Cris predicts that a lot more people are going to want to be like Tom, who is a renaissance man. He also predicts that “10 years from now, Derek will be out of radio, and out of the closet.”

Biz doesn’t have anything either. His excuse? He doesn’t look into the future so much as he takes everything day by day. That’s a good excuse, I’d say. =D

Tom, is “shooting for apocalypse.”

St. Patty’s Day edition of The BJRadio Show comin atcha.. live from The BJRadio Show Studios in Television City, California!

We are joined in studio by Chris and Al from Conflict In The Sky. I know you’ve seen these guys on this website before.. and if you haven’t checked em out, you neeeeeeed to! They rock so hardcore. They’re such cool guys, and their musical abilities are unparalleled!

Luke’s band No Patience is playing with Conflict In The Sky on the 21st @ Da Funky Phish in Bay Shore, NY. They’re also playing with This’ll Kill Ya. If you’re in the area, you need to come see this show. Whether it’s to come hang out with the guys from the show, or to see a few great bands, you need to be there.. because if you are, you can do BOTH! hah

We get into some cool stuff on this show.. our resident racist is back in full force tonight, thanks to our Official Sponsors for this St. Patty’s Day Episode of The BJRadio Show .. Aside from our peanut gallery, we got into all the things that Luke did this week, which included the NYPD/FDNY hockey game at the Nassau Coliseum, Code Anchor‘s 311 set at Ollie’s Point, Clown Vomit playing at Da Funky Phish and Luke networking for us at a party.
